Another idea came up - to help local hunters and use the drone for hunting purposes. Will look into the matter over the weekend and see what good can come out of it.

No, no, I mean to use for spotting for commercial hunting (to check the animals and how many are there in the area), and help to look for the wounded ones when they are hunting.

Seems reasonable to me, as long as that distinction exists in your jurisdiction. Obviously, when used for sport hunting, it is a clear unfair advantage. When used for population control and humaneness of wounded animals, it certainly furthers the goals.

Its VERY illegal in the U.S. and requires specific Permits that some states Won't even issue. There are a couple of states that permit the use of Drones to recover deer, I cannot remember the names but I remember discussing it here. Your country of Latvia has the same rules about wildlife as our country does.
Here in the U.S. it is perfectly legal to take photos of animals BUT Searching for and/or taking photos of a specific species or individual is NOT permitted and doing such requires Paperwork.
There is this from your consulate here:
Hunting in Latvia requires specific permits and adherence to hunting season regulations. It's important to understand if drones could be considered an allowed hunting tool in certain circumstances, and if so, whether they would require additional permits or authorizations

Hey guys, yeah, then it's totally different than here in Latvia. But honestly, the laws are going to change here soon anyway, and it seems like they will go into direction where it will become more illegal and will require more permits to use them. So, something like that. Happy hunting!

The entire world is headed in the same direction. The Wild West of drone flying is over, and we are being outlawed everywhere, virtually worldwide. When drones are outlawed, only outlaws will be flying them! Fly 'em stealthily, if you still got 'em! LOL!
