I need to see motor RPM speeds during periods of flight so that I can determine how well the drone is balanced (Compare front motor RPM to rear motor RPM during hovering). Apparently using DJI Assistant 2 to extract the DAT files from the drone does not decrypt them so they cannot be loaded in AirData UAV (or any other third party).

Can anyone help with this?

Motor data only exists in DAT flight logs. DJI does not allow anyone to decrypt DAT flight log, so you will not be able to obtain that data.

So, contact DJI for help. The file is encrypted by DJI.

Although this does not apply to Drones, I do the same with a few of my electric planes for Pylon Racing at our RC club. I use my Futaba Telemetry RC control systems, particularly for my ducted fan F100 model, to monitor fan/motor rpm at different air speeds, altitudes, battery voltages, battery and/or motor temperatures etc. etc. It helps me select the right fan/motor/battery combos to gain any edge if possible.
