Hello all when I first got my mavic 4 pro i took it out of the box, set it up, did not change any settings, and flew. I was just trying to learn all the aspects of the new drone. On my first initial flights I could fly and roll the gimbal without having that green leveler line and crosshairs on the screen by just holding down the c2 button and rolling the right dial. I saw a video on youtube and saw the green leveler line and wanted to try it out. I went to the appropriate settings screen and tapped the button customization tab and turned on the gimbal roll on the c2 and right dial. Boom there it was, the green leveler line. I flew a couple times with it on the screen. OK I was done with it on the screen. So I tried to go back and turn it off. Which I was able to do. But now I can't fly and roll the gimbal without that green leveler line on the screen. I've tried to change the settings and I can only roll the gimbal if I set it up on the button customization screen. I read on Google that you should be able to roll the gimbal without the green leveler line by just holding down the c2 button and using the dial. That was how I did it before. But I can't get it to work again without the green leveler line. Maybe it was on a demo mode and when I changed it I may have messed it up. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong. Can anyone help me out? I feel I should be able to roll the gimbal with or without the green leveler line on screen? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

You're one of a few who have one in the States

If it were me, I would just turn off everything and re-boot to see what happens, hopefully our International Friends
can help.

I talked to DJI tech on live chat. They said the firmware may have not yet kicked in on the first few flights? Made no sense since the first thing I did was update before first flight. But anyway. They advised that the only way to have the gimbal to roll is to set it at one of the three button combos ie... right dial, c1 or c2 right dial. And after that the green level line will appear as a line up tool. So I then asked if they could pass on to the engineers to program an option to make it our choice to have green line or not. And I also asked for them to program inward and outward distances on active track like on air 3s and mini 4 pro. We will see if it happens.
