Mavic Air 2 Extended Storage

I have left my Mavic Air 2 in storage since last October and upon recharging and atempting to fly I noticed all my initial settings from last year are gone. Does this happen regularly? Do I need to plan for this memory loss on my next storage? This seems weak.

Welcome back to the Air .

You will find that when the Drone updates that is will change the settings .
Once the drone gets current , you should be OK but updates do have a tendency to reset some settings .

The app has been updated several times since then and it resets everything when you update.

Did you update the firmware? As other mentioned - can reset to default, but I've not seen that with latest updates. I also stopped at 1.3 for mine, as many have had issues with 1.4.x- latest update from DJI for Air 2s.
