I have two questions:

1) I read somewhere that there is a feature in some drones that will cause the drone to maintain AGL as the ground rises. Is that feature available on MA2? If yes, how to access it?

2) What is the method to create waypoints in MA2? And...How to access them once a new battery has been installed?

Any help will be appreciated.

On your waypoint question, you can only do waypoint missions in Hyperlapse mode at the moment, when Litchi is finally updated, that should provide an alternative to allow you to do waypoint missions in normal mode.

On the first question in my opinion this would be possible if in Dji fly app is option minimum flight altitude. Currently there is an option for maximum only. Perhaps Dji solve this in future version..

Thank you. Since you did not elaborate, I take it that it is quite easy to set and to access later.

I don't see how this would be feasible on a MA2, the hardware cannot support this beyond 100', maybe even less. The only other option is to do it in app with a topographical map and satellite coordinates and then use current altitude to adjust to AGL height. Not a very accurate way, but better than nothing.

Once Litchi is available for the MA2, it will be possible to create missions that reference a certain AGL altitude. (since Litchi can plug into Google's topographical database) I don't think there's a solution for free flight (meaning non-missions) though.

I understood that about Litchi, but when will it work on MA2. I have written to both DJI and Litchi about that. Have not received any definitive answers.

DJI originally said the SDK would arrive in September, but now are saying by the end of the year. After that Litchi will likely quickly update to add support.
