Mavic Air 2 randomly disconnects

I was flying my Mavic air 2 when it lost connection to the controller and took me to the connect remote screen, pushed the cable harder in remote signal came back on and when I released pressure it lost signal again ( it was 20 ft away) Ordered a new cable going to test it out tomorrow. If anyone has an idea what was going on please help.
