Mavic Air 2 Remote Control compatibility

I have seen various comments online that the Mini 3 will be offered in one version as the drone and battery online (i.e., no RC). This is because the Mini 3 is said to be compatible with the Mini 2 RC and some have said with the Mavic Air 2S. Can anyone speculate that the Mini 3 will also be compatible with the RC provided with the Mavic Air 2 (as distinguished from the Air 2S)?

Word is it uses the RC-N1, which is the same remote for the Mini 2, Air 2, and Air 2S.
