I took my video footage on Mavic Air 2 set at 2.7K, D-Cinelike. MP4 and 30 fps. when I edited it in either iMovie or Final Cut Pro, I found that the sharpness is reduced when saturation or contrast is pushed up. Am I doing something wrong? Do you encounter similar problems? Is there any way to work around it?

Maybe bump up the sharpness in recording

From my point of view, that's normal except for saturation.

Try to use gamma instead of contrast

If sharpness is reduced with sat, try to move mids up

Thanks for your reply! I am still new to editing video. What is moving mids up?
I think on FcPX, it should be to move mid control to a higher value
