Hello folks,

I have an MA2 which shows "unable to take off 30064" error code. based on the past post I updated the fly app directly downloading the apk from DJI website. i can see the see version is different from what I had before but i STILL cannot get rid of 30064 error code.

Bird connects with RC just fine camera gimbal all looks great..... Really upset any help would be appreciated much.

needless to say drone firmware RC firmware are BOTH latest as well.

Is this the one you were hunting for parts for? Logged in to your DJI account?
A bit more information may be helpful.

Error code 30064- Is a software code. First as always -Check that the props are properly seated and in good condition. Next check to see what kind of GPS signal you are recieving-Do you have enough? If those 2 are good you will need to re-install the firmware using the DJI assistant. after that Rebind your controller. These steps should clear the 30064 Error.

Had the same problem a few months ago and turning on [LOCATION] on my phone fixed it for me.

If you're encountering error code 30064 on your DJI Mavic 2, it may be related to outdated software on your DJI Android controller and DJI Go4. After some troubleshooting, I found a solution that worked for me. Here’s how to fix it:

You will only need your DJI Android Controller

1. Ensure a Stable Wi-Fi Connection: Make sure you have a reliable Wi-Fi connection with a good signal.

2. Make sure your DJI Android Controller battery is above 20% and 3GB. It can start over and interrupt the installation process again if battery below 20%

2. Clear App Cache: Go to Settings on your Android DJI controller. - Navigate to Apps > DJI Fly or DJI Go 4. - Select Clear Cache and then Clear Data.

3. Reinstall the App: After clearing the cache and data, the app should reinstall itself. Install the update for your controller.

4. Check for Updates Once reinstalled, the update prompt should appear. You will see a blue DJI logo as it updates. Make sure your drone and controller is up to date

5. Once updated completed. Go to DJI Go4. An update pop up should appear for DJI fly, make sure you install it. This should resolve the error code once u open the app. Instead of showing “unable to take off” with the 30064 error code. It will show “take off permitted”

I hope this helps everyone and saves everyone’s time. I haven’t updated my drone for awhile. It was frustrating for me to figure out this issue

I've been getting lots of these Error Code 30064 lately...and I'm here to tell you it's never what it actually says. I'm able to clear it with a re-boot/re-start of the controller and/or app, after which the error message goes away like nothing ever happened. Very frustrating that they basically haven't updated the MA2 firmware since adding RID, yet we get these error messages that essentially "ground" the drone.
