Miles isn't enough range?
Seriously, if you are having range issues you need to fly in a safer location. Buildings, trees, areas with lots of WiFi like apartments, all reduce range. Also, GPS is essential, never fly without your home point set.

Plenty of YouTubes on them. Basically the 5.8ghz is better at maintaining signal strength more than distance in built up areas. The Ma 2 already has a decent range so there is no reason to extend the range.
