Do anybody is having this issue or is it just me? When I have the sun or clarity from the sun ain a 180 degrees angle even if is not looking directly at the sun I am having this issue with a lens excessive glare that completely makes my videos useless.

Here is a sample video with the problem. Something with pictures. This is a brand new Mavic Air 2S and is having the issue since day 1. I am about to contact DJI for repairs.

Normal flare over fingerprints - and usually related to using poor quality lens clothes to clean the base or ND filters. Even worse if you've used a lens cleaning fluid or eye glass cleaner.

Is a brand new drone out of the package. Not a single dust on it. Doing it since day 1 (less than 2 weeks ago)

Oh no ! You got to send that back, I have never had anything like that on my Air 2S even in the direct sun . its like some alien DNA is hanging on for dear life, Take it back and replace it before its to late. lol

I was thinking, "how in the world is a spider web there" I landed to check, and is clean and clear. No ND filter if someone asks. I am very very meticulous with my drones. As soon as I land all my drones I immediately put the lens cap on them.

It is still flare. And normal. And if you don't have a glass cover over the lens, then you are missing part of the kit. Though the flare looks like it's on flat glass. And since it isn't internal lens flare, fingerprints on the filter is the most likely problem.

Get a GOOD lens cloth, and carefully clean the filter. Wash hands before opening and using the lens cloth. Avoid touching your face, etc. Body oils spread worse than COVID.

I trust per above that it is normal lens flair but, no, I haven't experienced that yet. Can't wait....not!

I just opened the case with DJI. They ask me to send the drone for repair or replacement after seeing the video. I already have the shipping label and will be sent tomorrow to the Texas facility.

Wow! Learned something there. Would you be so kind as to tell us what they found if they give you any useful information.

Absolutely I will. He do not say what was wrong in the support chat. He just says if cleaning the lens does not help, send it back to us that needs repair or replacement since does not look normal. He says will be covered by warranty.

Isn't that the truth. I've been hearing an awful amount of that. Last purchase review I read said once you get a good one they are great. "Asssooo Ding Dong! We wok too fast now. No have time do right! Too many newbee on line after holiday!"

True. I suffered the Mavic 3 drama but so far the new one is working great. Knocking wood. The other one was working perfectly until the incident. Now I am not going to fly more than 1000FT until I get the firehouse Arc V coming on Monday. No more lake flying for the moment or deep in the woods.

Has anybody tried the AppleTag? I am about to hit the trigger for $30 with trying.

If that apple tags works well < i am switching back to the IPHONE from my One PLUS keep me posted.

Based on the fact that I could not find my phone when I placed it under the couch , I have my doubts.

I am probably ordering this one to give the shot.

That looks pretty nice. I lost one drone that I knew was within 10 meters once and GPS didn't get me close enough.

For the price it is worth the shot. I just purchased the AirTag.

Just remove the filter and see if the "spiderwebs" go away. If they do, you know it is oils or grease on the glass -- or at the extreme, a bad coating application.

You'll probably be disappointed after sending the entire drone back to hear they don't find any issue.
