I just got two additional batteries for my MAVIC Air. Is it really necessary to do the firmware update to use them? I’ve flown twice with one of the new batteries without any problems even though I ignored the update prompt. My MA is flying just fine and I don’t want to screw it up with a buggy update if I can help it.
