Hey folks,

Just looking for some advice regarding filters.

I'll be shooting a lot in the mountains where the sun can be pretty harsh especially when snow is around.

I do a lot of stills photography with my DSLR and have a few filters for this (mainly for long exposures) so I do understand their use a bit but I'm very new to cinematography....

Do any of you guys have a recommendation for a good starting set? Just want something as versatile as possible. I have been looking at the polar pro range but any recommendations would be much appreciated!

Many thanks,

James

OK I'll look into it... TY!

Although just seen polarpro do custom set, pick what you want. Very useful!

O use taco filters. They are very good and work well with mavics flimsy gimbal. Normally I would say make sure they go up to nd32 but since you are going to be in snowy mountains it might ba a good idea to grab a nd64 as well.
