Mavic air near flyaway - help!

I often puzzle over these many reports of ‘flyaways’. I've never experienced one with DJI aircraft from Phantom2 to Mavic Air. Then I looked at the conditions you flew in...? Wind gusting to over 40mph?
That's 40mph NOT 40kmh? The manual tells you not to fly above a certain wind speed, that warning is there for a reason. I continually scratch my head wondering if sometimes it's not the actual pilot
that's at fault but simply that you overlooked to read the manual properly.

The Mavic Air has a very large difference in performance between P (15° maximum tilt / 29 km/hr) and S mode (35° maximum tilt / 68 km/hr). You started in P mode, then switched to sport, which allowed the aircraft to use much larger tilt angles against the wind.

WOW!! Looked really good...until I saw the PRICE! I'll have to get by with MS Excel, or some low priced/freeware product
