Hi everyone,
I want to buy a drone that can shoot 4k but is still reasonably priced. I have looked at the Mavic 3 4k as you can buy it second hand for around $500.
Should I buy the Phantom3 4k or just keep saving for a Mavic Air?

Thanks

Do yourself and buy a Spark now for around $300 - $350, or an Air or Mavic Pro later. I would skip the Phantom line altogether at that price point.

There is no such thing as a Mavic 3 4k. At least not until 2020 or 2021. The latest model is the Mavic 2 Pro, Zoom, or Enterprise.

There are 2 Phantoms that people mistake for eachother.
  1. The Phantom 3 Pro is a great drone. Dated technology but still fun to fly.
  2. The Phantom 3 4k is not the same as the Phantom 3 Pro with 4k camera. The Phantom 3 4k was a limited edition drone, didnt sell very well, and parts are hard, if not impossible, to find. It has a gimbal not shared by any other Phantom. I would steer clear of it.

Oh crap, did I say Mavic 3 4k? I meant Phantom 3 4k!
