Mavic Air sports mode movements

Any way to make smoother movements in sports mode? Chasing boats was lame with very jerky drone flight adjustments

It may just be the time it takes the pilot (you) to develop the “touch” for smooth flying especially when chasing/following an object moving at significant speed. So maybe practice is my answer.
