I'm trying to follow the Laws for flighting my Mavic Air - I'm confused as to the weight classification of my drone ? Mavic Air weight is (0.95 lbs 430g 0.43 kilograms) it appears to be less than 1kg , but it is also a Recreational drone!
Is it ?
-1kg or less
-1kg - 25kg
-Model Aircraft (Recreational Drone)

I'm just flying the drone for recreational purposes around the cottage.

From what I understand, you’ll need a basic flying exam proof and you have to follow the new rules of where to fly

We'll have to take the exam, probably the Basic for most of us.

you just take the basic exam and register your drone. the new rule is for anything from 250g to 35KG(?). doesn't matter if it's recreational or professional.
