Mavic as air and ground camera or Mavic for air and separate camera for ground footage?

Hey, I'm wondering what everyone thinks about using the Mavic for ground footage? Do you think it's better to use it strictly for air footage and a separate camera for ground footage or would it be better to use it for both?

Might be fine for occasional use or on a stationary mount. But it seems to me it might be a bit awkward for a solo user to carry the drone in one hand and manipulate the controls with the other. And even if the drone was shooting video, you'd be essentially carrying a video camera with four awkward legs and propellers stuck to it.
