Mavic Camera Focus question

With the Mavic Pro's RC, if I were to assign one button on the back of the remote to center focus the camera, would I still be able to change the object of focus by tapping the screen? I might want to change the focus from the center to the horizon. Would both work, one after the other if I desired?
