Mavic controller cable question

I am looking to use my ipad mini with Mavic Air controller can I use my Apple charging cable to conect to controller? or do I need a special cable?

If it is the cable that came with your Apple device, then yes, you can use it, but it may be longer than you need. You can get a shorter cable from Amazon. Just make sure it's a data cable, (like what came with your device) and not just a charging cable.

Didn’t know the Air used the usb like on the charging like
the other Mavics. I use this one and have since I got my first
Mavic.

Just a note from a newbie. Whilst 'testing' the iPad setup I couldn't get it to work. Found out that the side cable (micro USB) must be unplugged, even if it's not connected to anything, for the USB A port to work on the bottom of the controller.
