Mavic controller compatible?

I receive a notice that Mavic controller will be not compatible with platinum , can people confirm?

Per the "In The Box" section on this page in the DJI Store, it shows the Mavic Pro Platinum comes with the same black remote controller.

I was told by DJI support on the phone that was not recommended. Took that to mean - maybe but don,t count on that for firmware updates or DJIcare

I had the same answer from a recent DJI support chat. The Mavic controller is not compatible with the MPP. And Yes, we will see!
