mavic is drifting.. was not like this before..

Hi all!

So all of a sudden my mavic has started to drift.. and i have no idea why..any ideas?

Also I have a red R symbol next to my sat symbol.. i have never noticed that red before.

I searched "Red r" in the Forum search thread function just now (the magnifying glass in the upper right of the Forum page) and a few threads about it popped up that may be of help to you. Check it out.

I had this issue a few days ago while flying at night.

I thought it could be because I was flying at night, but with a strong GPS lock I thought it should still be stable regardless of ambient lighting, so later that night I did a compass calibration and IMU calibration (my first one ever) and it has been fine since. That should cure it for you.

Is it always drifting the same direction? Is so, probably a controller calibration will fix it

2 things that can fix your problem and that is a IMU manual calibration on a level surface and/or do a stick calibration. I'm leaning more towards the stick calibration as that is the suggested fix for drifting
