I was trying to teach hubby how to fly, those first few times where the drone is facing the pilot can be rather unique.
The video continued to record in blips and we got a GREAT shot of the tree from the drone’s new perch after it crashed. It took a ladder & broom to get him (Muninn) out of the tree. A little rubbing alcohol got rid of the sap left on his propellers.
After his tree perch we decided the new drone needed a name - With 2 dogs having nordic names, Loki & Bjorn, it just seemed appropriate for Odin’s raven, Muninn, to be bestowed on my mini 2 after having rescued him from 10 feet up in a tree.
I tested him after his final fall to the ground. He had NO issues! I had to wipe the blades off, wet from the water in the tree-previous rain earlier today. I still can’t believe the GREAT fortune! I am very thankful I also have insurance on Muninn, just in case.
