Mavic Mini (A Look Inside)

Can I use that scheme + and - for fast charge of battery mavic mini with imax6b....

Az si izpolzvam zarqdnoto na telefona mi brat, Huwawei Mate 20 Pro - zarejda mi drona Mavic Mini ot 20% do 100% za 50min.
I use my phone's charger(wall adapter) from my Huwawei Mate 20 Pro, charges my drone Mavic Mini from 20% to 100% in 50min.

How I was think 746 is analog of 748 by logical scheme and pins. The amplifier do not have adjust of power. Amplifier will add some power (+18...+20dBm) for signal from AR1021X. I think only software unlock.

Because it can deliver 22W compared to 18W that is supplied by DJI with the drone.

I love how fast my Huwawei Mate 20 Pro charger charges my Mavic Mini, just under an hour I'm ready to fly again! So far I've only had to charge my drone with my Huwawei charger 2 times when I wanted to get another flight in quickly. Usually though I prefer to use my old phone's charger, which takes about 3 and a half hours or just a bit longer to charge to 100% from 20% again! I just have this feeling that when I use my Huwawei charger I somehow abuse my drone's battery a bit! That's why I will always prefer the 4 hour charge time over the 50 minutes one. If I want to get in a few flights in one day then I'll certainly use the Mate 20 Pro's charger so that I'm back up in the air quicker. I checked the battery just after charging it with the Mate 20 Pro's charger and it was not even warm - so I guess it's not that bad.

I really enjoy flying my Mini, I fly it indoors mostly as to get the hang and sensitivity of the wonderful Mavic Mini! Also the weather is "Not Good to Fly" almost 90% of the time according to my UAV Forecast application! I do notice though that when I use the Mate 20 Pro's charger them lil lights on the drone start flashing really fast, nothing compared to when its slowly charging! When DJI supplies their Bulgaria, Sofia office/branch/site with new stock & I'm able to buy me another 2 or even 3 Mavic Mini batteries - then I'll feel way more comfortable charging them with the 22W charger.

I can't wait for work to be over today, I'll go and begin a whole weekend of flying with my Mini! I'll make some videos and upload them to YouTube. It will be a blast, super awesome times!

:)

The specs on the Huwawei charger shows to be only 5v, unless it is mislabeled. MM should only be drawing 2A max at 5v. It wants to negotiate higher voltage to increase watt draw. It is the charged device that dictates current draw, though it may throttle back the draw if it senses the charger can't cope with the charged device's max draw.

The way to know for sure is to put a USB power meter on it, one capable of reading at least 12V, since QC 3.0 uses 12v.

Hi mate, is the statement stil valide? Im looking for that rather than a hardware restriction !! As we will have hope for a hack or a change of mind from DJI to get 4km range for the CE version

What we should expect to learn is that there is no difference in hardware- the variations in radio performance between regions are set in factory firmware (according to DJI's explanation).

No- only for controller. Bird hardware is different.

Based on Blithe74’s photos, it seems, there are three paths from the Atheros WIFI controller to the antennas:

1: 2.4 GHz at CE power level (using the Atheros internal RF power amplifier?)
2: 5.8 GHz at CE power level (using the Atheros internal RF power amplifier?)
3: 5.8 GHz at FCC power level (using Skyworks 5GHz front-end/power-amp)

In the CE version, path 1 and 2 are equipped on the PCB. In the FCC version, only the path 3 components are soldered in.

Does this mean that part 1 and 2 is missing in FCC version and the Skyworks 5GHz front-end/power-amp part makes that it sends stronger signal leading to the longer range in FCC version?

Does anybody have detailed photo of remote controller internals? Is there something looking like flashing connector? It can be something like 5 points on the main board, or pins.
I have bricked RC. It doesn't detect as USB device. I think its u-boot partition was damaged or any other partition. So I have dumps of them from the working RC.

I disassembled it. I didn't find something looking like serial port. I checked all of the points on board and nothing. I discovered that there is a place for the button on the main board but it is not soldered. I checked it and it looks like it is the second power on button. I can turn it on by connecting soldered pins with each other.
As you can see my FCC RC has the same amplifier as drone has. SKY 746.
