If i buy a new battery could i mod the battery ive never seen a battery update on my mavic mini app but not sure i would rather buy a new battery and attemot mod that way without totally ruining it is this possible
This may help:If i buy a new battery could i mod the battery ive never seen a battery update on my mavic mini app but not sure i would rather buy a new battery and attemot mod that way without totally ruining it is this possible
IMHO, The weight that you add to that tiny drone is going to mitigate most any time gain or advantage. The poor little motors are going to be running at a higher than normal speed, full-time. Good luck anyhow. Send us the results. You just might prove me wrong. If i buy a new battery could i mod the battery ive never seen a battery update on my mavic mini app but not sure i would rather buy a new battery and attemot mod that way without totally ruining it is this possible

LOL, That’s impressive. ?
Thanks for the pics and info. I see you’re flying very close to home with that set up.
That's awesome! Can you share details of such modification? There is a risk of battery chip controller blocking, so battery can become a useless brick. Did you disconnect cells from the chip board?I get 41 minutes of flight time. Earlier today I got 37 minutes with 20 minutes of sport flying at a constant 25mph.

An hour flight restricted to 300 feet. Unless you found a way to defeat the built-in, heavy load, settings. Good for building inspections probably. In low wind.
Like the new motors and props idea. Do they draw much more juice? Originals not powerful enough, it seems, causing uncontrolled decent and overload warnings. Props? My Mini struggles in pop-up Payload mode so removed accessories, except strobe. Never tried to disable it.You can turn payload mode off and continue flying as far as you want.
However with new motors and props it doesn't trigger payload mode
Some guy on YouTube showed that if you disconnect wires in sequence (+, -, balance), controller does not lock up. Assembly in reverse. I don't know if it depends on battery firmware version. I think may be to try and keep voltage while changing cells... Did your batteries lock up while cells connecting/disconnecting, or just during ordinary use? Is it possible to charge mod battery through the drone, or you use third party charger? My magic boards that I made before all eventually locked up.
I have tried a new strategy on the magic boards and am testing them now. So far so good.
The only way I can make them work is to start with a brand new battery that hasn't been updated. Cut the cells off and make the new plug in adapter.
I am now up over a hour of flight time. My longest hover time is 73min
I run mavic air motors, mavic air master air screw props, my magic board, 4 mavic pro battery cells and I overcharge the battery a little bit

Bargain, now you can start your own DJI MM battery mail-in unbricking serviceI bought a battery programmer and I'm able to unlock my locked up batteries. But it cost around $400
