Sure, however I find that a tablet holder is more comfortable to use instead.

But ... the DJI Fly App does not scale to the size of the Mini screen. you can only enlarge the “phone size” screen to use the Mini screen real estate. So the icons/images are larger but you don’t get more video sq. Footage. Maybe this makes sense but its been a long time since I have seen iOS apps that don’t scale to iPad.

Yes, it’s a tight fit but it works. You’ll have to get a longer usb micro to lightning cable. Not all cables work so make sure that it works before you go out and try to fly. I went through 3different cables before I found a 1ft us micro to lightning

Remember if the tablet or phone are no compatible, you cant not see the app.

If you want to see the map, you need internet connectivity.
