Hello from Canada,
Does anyone know if you use an iPad mount, can you still use a wifi extender or it won’t fit.
Also, is a camera thin film protector useful or needed? As in, is it easy to scratch the lens? I ordered a camera hood but takes some time to receive.
I‘ve been waiting patiently to fly my Mavic mini for 2 weeks now. I needed the proper wire to hook up my iPad 6th generation. I think I found the right one. Remember, it’s often harder to get certain things in Canada that in USA.
Thanks in advance and have a nice day!

I don't need to use an adapter since I'm using a Micro USB cable.

Sorry I’m confused.
i have my original iPad cable which is micro USB on one end and a regular USB end on other. The controller I thought takes a special end to plug into?

That cable will not work with the mini. You need one that connects to your devise then the other end has to be a micro usb.
The cable you will need msinger gave you a link to.

No original iPad cables have a Micro USB connector.

Since you have a 6th gen iPad, your cable should have a Lightning connector at one end. If the other end is a USB connector, then you'll need an adapter or a different cable (like the cable I linked above).

Sorry. One more question. dji sent me a recommendation od what works with the Mavic mini. I have a Samsung S8 phone while they mention the S8+ works but not mine.
in the list on this site, it seems it works or am I reading the chart wrong?

DJI currently offers technical support for both the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8+. You can find a complete list of supported (and other commonly used) devices here:

Best Tablets and Phones for DJI GO & DJI Fly (Updated Daily)

Note: The fact that DJI does not offer technical support for a specific mobile device doesn't necessarily mean it won't be able to run DJI Fly. It just means they haven't tested that mobile device and won't help you if you contact them about it.

Here's what I have and they work great!
