(Mavic Mini)Yesterday I checked the UAV forecast. Looked great with no strong gust at 100ft. As I was filming around 100ft , I noticed my AC was losing altitude from 100 down to 80 and so on. (Full battery, pre flight all good). After realizing this I regained altitude back to 100 ft. I had my rth set to 150 ft. I had roughly 56% battery life left, and activated the RTH button. As the Ac was returning to home point, which had updated prior to take off, I dramatically lost altitude and crashed into a tree. After a half hour of tracking via GPS, I located the Ac in a dead tree upside down, about 12 ft up, just 3 ft shy of creek. I was able to get the drone down, and luckily it was unharmed. I did a firmware update prior to going out. Never had this happen before.
update 4/23/2020, I downloaded the newest software , released today from DJI, Updated AC, Transmitter, and all batteries. Hopefully this fixes the issue. Seems to hover much better, with less float.
Anyone experience any erratic behavior such as mine?
