Mavic Mini registering/licence in UAE (Dubai)

The Mavic Mini is advertised as not requiring registering as it’s less than 250g. I know that’s good news for US and UK as we don’t need to do it. But I’m struggling to find the answer for it for the UAE (Dubai). Just seems like a blanket Yes to getting a licence/registering regardless of weight or not. Any advice would be helpful as I’m planning to use it in the desert whilst doing a bit of san dune buggy etc on holiday. Not planning on using it in the city, just out in the desert area.

Following. Has anyone done the mobile registration yet? As I heard it requires a uae mobile number. So as a foreigner, can I register with a tourist card?
