I am not a Mavic owner (yet...still working on it) but have been following its developments since it came out. While watching the tv series Lethal Weapon a few weeks back, the Mavic made an appearance. Of course in true Hollywood fashion this one had 2 way audio capabilities. It was a short cameo as Rigs decided to just shoot it out of the sky rather than converse with it.
I had forgotten all about that until yesterday as I was reading a book (Operator Down by Brad Taylor) the Mavic came up again. One of the spies was using it to do surveillance and discussed its capabilities quite a bit. There was even a section where he was going through customs and got stopped because the officer didn't know what it was.
Anyway...I thought some of the die hards here would find that interesting.
