Any tips on the orientation of the Mavic? Sometimes when it's a distance away which way the drone is facing or how close to an object it is. Looking at the remote screen is sometimes useless when it's up high.
Learn to use the radar/compass on your app. I use it all the time to determine the quickest way back to the home point, for example. Once you l earn how to use it, you'll have a lot more confidence.
Search this forum for Radar. There are a few great threads on how to use it.
Just bring up your GPS map, look at your aircraft, it's represented as an arrow, and your flight path from where you been is a line. Follow the line back. It's pretty easy really.
