Mavic Pro and Air, and Spark Controllers

Why does the Mavic Pro controller have a telemetry LCD display, but neither does the Mavic Air nor the Spark does? Is it for cheaper prices or just design?

I believe it’s not so much either of those, but rather to differentiate between their cheaper and more expensive products.

The Mavic Pro series being the premium models have more options than the Air or Spark.

i would think its a way to keep price down and also to keep the air from being too close to the pro in terms of options

Marketing trickery. The question is how come there are no lcd panels on any other premium DJI drones.

It wouldn’t be too hard to add an LCD display in the inspire remote or the phantom remote. Why just the Mavic Pro? Interesting.
