Mavic Pro Battery Mod

Did you order the same size or larger ?

Protek only makes one lihv in 3S (3600)
If you want different sizes you have to buy a 4S or (2) 2S and chop those into 3S. That's what I intend to do with the (2) protek 2S 8500's after I'm done using them on the P3 for a while. The 3600 3S is really the only affordable battery protek has. To make the 3S 8500, that's 220 bucks.
But that should make a nice slim 8.5 brick for the mav coming in around 480g[emoji41]

Second flight with both Protek batteries on.
I had a heck of a time getting the batteries to work together. The main one keep shutting down. and then the wind picked up to about 15 to 20 mph. So I had a head wind the whole way back, Killed my speed.

Same battery you have. If I go for an all out run, might try 3 and cut weight by disassembling Mavic battery, remove gimbal, remove fan, etc. I won't go full Lolo on it, but things I can easily do to save weight. I have one cracked battery anyway, so may as well remove case.

Wind makes a HUGE difference. That's still really good for a windy day and taking off at 97% battery.

I have one battery for the mavic that the plunger (lock tag) is not working. I was thinking on taking the case off but could not figure it out and did not want to wreck it.

Nope sounds like you're going full Lolo! It's funny that Lolos done something so extreme that it's become a pop-culture phrase!
"Ahhh bro, are you going full Lolo"

That'll be interesting, three batteries, actually four right?
But you're well aware, and I am too, as somebody who's packed multiple batteries under the phantoms, sometimes you meet a point where that third battery just never really helped, too much weight and got the same flight time as two batteries.
It might be called diminishing returns, not sure

I was starting to think that with that hubsan 7000.

Thanks Pheonix for bringing these to everybody's attention, even though I've been telling everybody they kick *** for a month, you're the first one that's actually bought them[emoji41]
My last PIII flight I went 25,000 in the first 10%, they are very well-built batteries, and even though cyber thinks they may not be good on the low-end, I'd rather have my main battery end at 3.4 and my externals end at 3.3 than have it the other way around.
I expect a less sag out of 100 C battery at the low-end than I would out of a multi star, and if I can achieve that at the same weight as a multi-star win-win
Have been looking at em for a while now..looking.
Don't know how/where these van be purchased. Especially in EU. Got any links?
Cannot find any.

Funny person you are..
I actually would consider that but if you'd see the weather we re dealing with here i cannot motivate myself.

My Proteks arrived today! I'll get my Thunderpower 4500s in a day or so as well. Will be fun to compare them. Lolo is getting 4906mah out of his 4500 so that some pretty stiff competition. That's flying down into the critically low auto landing. I'll need to break them in, so I'll likely fly them down to 80 or perhaps 75% going out and then turn for the first couple flights, like Phxbird. I expect the Proteks to be better in the first 20%, but ThunderPower should start catching up after that.
