Flying over water isnt a problem UNTIL its a problem. Its always a risk.
If it falls in the water its dead, if it falls onto concrete its dead. If it falls into a forest its probably stuck in a tree and unrecoverable.

That's why I fly at 3000 to 4300m (my highest till now) hight over open water: I fear the suction effect....
never had an issue.....Ok one time (kinda) but just once I swear.....cR
