Mavic Pro Platinum new owner

How do! I've been flying for a couple of months now with toys mainly. Upgraded to a Hubsan 501ss. Liked the freedom so much I decided to hold my breath and take the plunge!
I absolutely love this Mavic pro platinum. Only thing I want to change is to have a bigger monitor. Crystalsky seems to be the best bet but I'm tapped after the Mavic purchase. Is there a less expensive way? I know Crystalsky has an under $200 monitor but I don't know if its compatible with the Mavic. This stuff is too technical for me but I'm learning.

All CrystalSky models are compatible with the Mavic Pro Platinum.

A less expensive way? Maybe pick up a refurbished iPad Mini 4?

The benefit of the crystal sky monitors is that they are sunlight readable. So if flying in brightly lit areas then one would still be able to see the DJIGO4 screen. Thats not the case with the average tablets on the market. Even the high brightness tablets pale in comparison to the Crystal Sky monitors.

You could always try Mike's suggestion above and then add a sunshield to the tablet to help with sunlight viewing

Hey thanks! I appreciate the suggestions. I think I will snag up a good used iPad while I scrape and save for that cystalsky. My little android just doesn't cut it.

Well, I never did get a bigger screen. I've been looking for good deals and doing the research necessary to find what I need but never pulled the trigger. Decided to wait till after Christmas. Instead, since I am tapped as I said earlier, I ordered a brand new set of DGI goggles. Ha ha. No it doesn't make a lick of sense except to admit I'm all ate up with the drone bug!!

Cant go wrong with a drone, had my MPP for about a year, and i am looking for good deal after Christmas for an ipad mini4, been told apple have best infrastructure to operate dji go 4 on. Have fun with drone and keep coming back here, excellent advice from experienced pilots all willing to help if asked.
