Mavic Pro RC Quetion

SO My Mavic just came via ups an a little over an hour ago and the 1st battery is charged but my phone wont connect to the controller and the usb is plugged in. So I downloaded an app to see if my phone is otg compatible and turns out it is not. Does this mean that I will not be able to connect to the mavic Pro?

I will get the stupid questions out of the way. Is the RC fully charged and what phone are you using?

Many devices work that are not on the official compatibility list. If there is a problem the phone should connect but not run Go 4 or will run poorly. Try unplugging the RC side cable and using your phone USB data cable.

DJI things don't need the phone to support OTG.
Which port did you use on the remote?

If you use the port on the bottom of the controller, make sure the cord on the side is unplugged.

i got it to work but am trying to regester it with the faa but cant find the model number. i already entered the mavic license number but its ascing me for a model number. i searched google but it only gives me serial number as answers.

It's written on the regulatory sticker under the battery.

BTW if you're in the USA unless you have a commercial license if you've entered the serial you're doing it wrong.

oh crap, how do i do it then because if your right then the 5 bucks i paid for are for nothing, how do i register then.

I just found out how to register as a hobbiest, I will cancel the 107 and activate the hobiest one, sorry for this mistake thank you all for correcting me thank u all so much.
