Mavic Pro Remote Unresponsive

I haven't flown in a couple of months. I started getting things ready charging batteries and I notice my remote has no response. I assume the battery is completely down but after leaving it on the charger there is still no response. There is no lights, nothing. I plug into my computer and there is still no response. How do I wake up the remote?

I don't see that it is.

You Tube can be very helpful. Did functional battery, perhaps?
