Mavic Pro standard range test

Decided this morning to do a range test with my standard Mavic pro and were surprised with the results details is
Location ATKV Resort Northern Drakensberg KZN South Africa
Take off Battery 100%
Landing Battery 29%
Distance from Home point 4543 m
Flight Distance 9144 m
Flight time 20 minutes
Max height 107 m
This was with original props and battery

I guess SA is a CE region?

I got just over 6kms with low noise props, landing at 27%.

You were flying pretty slow too. Best to turn off the front sensors and fly faster for range tests in my experience. Not in sport mode though as it sucks the battery.

Are you testing for transmission range or flight range? You could definitely go further with OA off, flying around 50kph.

Thanks for the input however my test were purely to test transmission and wanted to see with all features active what the capabilities are
