This is now the third firmware update that I am unable to apply to my Mavic Pro. It transmits and begins updating, but gets stuck at 57%. It fails and says "Upgrade Error."
I have tried multiple versions, using a computer and an iPhone and an iPad. I have reformatted the Mavic's SD card. I have done everything folks here have said to try, as well as DJI Support.
They are now telling me I need to send it for repair. This will be my second repair, after my initial Mavic arrived with a de-centered lens. That was a month without my brand-new drone. Now I'm getting into busy summer season for photography and videography and I will again be without my drone.
I do not understand how a firmware update issue requires a repair/replacement. This is absolutely ridiculous and I am seriously thinking of selling my Mavic. The software and hardware issues, coupled with poor support that takes forever to get a response, does not inspire confidence.
Has anyone else had an issue updating or had to have theirs repaired or replaced because of it?
