If I take my drone up to its maximum altitude that I usually get at 1625 feet then fly towards a near by small mountain that is 1900 feet high, when i get closer and closer to the mountain side and the mountainside is rising up towards my drone will the radar on underside reset the drone to the current altitude i am at so I can continue up the mountain or am i stuck at present altitude and have to land it there to reset current altitude to zero and then continue on up the mountain side.

the max height is from the take off point called the home point so to reach the top you would have to be several hundred feet up the mountain and take off from there
