I don’t know anything. This whole customs thing seems simply like harassment of DJI for geopolitical reasons.

Yet, something that seems to have a straightforward resolution isn't getting resolved. From what I understand, DJI doesn't manufacture in the affected region, so the "investigation" should have been short and quick.

But it's not getting resolved. While I think it near certain this is all a bunch of political gamesmanship, could there be an actual snag in the investigation by customs where some parts have been determined to actually be in violation?

I certainly hope not. It would be really crushing to learn I'd purchased a product built with forced labor.

Doesn't bother me as much as it probably should, not because I don't care, but because I'm already convinced much of what I purchase and own today is the result of at least some type of forced labor. Sad to say but even the USA, as free as we are, we have individuals and government that abuse their citizens and misuse the system for personal gain and it's mostly financially driven. It wouldn't surprise me if DJI were no different and without going further into politics, I've felt this way for decades and long before drones entered the picture, and while I haven't made peace with it per se, it stands as one of those things not very much you can do about it in the long run. I'm trying to pass the activist mantle onto the next generation but they don't want to seem to pick it up, they're busy. We are losing our way.....

It is impossible to prove a negative. Hence DJI's dilemma against the mere allegation. This is clearly geopolitically motivated, and irrefutable proof is unnecessary. Customs only does what it is told to do. Customs has been told to hold the items in purgatory, while the "investigation" continues. It is essentially a restraining order and an injunction.

Solution is to order from a Canadian reseller who can ship it to you directly from Canada, from which there is no current import hold, but from which a 25% tariff will likely be imposed after Trump takes office. Get it now!

DJI has been selling products in the US for how many years? And only now with all of the anti DJI stuff from those with the power, has this become an issue.

Happenstance??????? As a former employee for a contract vendor for state government I have seen firsthand what a telephone call (no emails that can be traced) can do to help or hurt a cause. I have seen it work both ways.

I can't think of a single Chinese electric car you buy in the US.....why not? For many reasons.
