Hello everyone,

I flew the Mini 4K for the first time recently, and I saw a popup message warning me of a slow SD card. I put a 256GB UHS-I U3 A2 V30 Class 10 microSD card in it, which is advertised of being capable of 150MB/s read 100MB write with a reader, and at least 100MB/s read and 90MB/s write in other conditions. I am assuming the Mini 4K falls in the latter, but it should still be able to handle the 4K 30fps video I was taking. The footage off the card looked okay with no stuttering to my untrained eyes.

Any thoughts on this is much appreciated!

It is a Team Group Pro + 256GB, technically not on DJI's list of approved cards, but not a bad card supposedly.
I would recommend sticking to the well known brands such as SanDisk. As @mavic3usa mentions there are a lot of fakes around that not only fail to meet the SD Card standards set by the SD Association but also falsely report their speed and capacity.

Video needs a sequential write to storage and V30 is only guaranteed to 30 Mega Bytes/Sec. V60 is the SD association’s recommendation for 4K.

The data written to storage is also highly influenced by the video format and codec used.

I occasionally get that message with the card I always use in my Air 2S but the videos always come out fine. I'm not sure if it's a momentary hiccup or what but it doesn't affect what I'm shooting. It only happens once in a while.
