I've been experimenting with panoramas of late and thought I'd try Litchi's Pano function. A lot more control is available through Litchi but I tried to keep it simple. (Horiz. 170 Deg x 4 photos, Vert. 60 Deg. x 2 photos) Gave me 8 photos with plenty of overlap which I then processed using Hugin.
Mixed results. Looked really good except for some anomalies along a vertical line just behind the pickup truck going by:
Original Pano
I fixed those anomalies best I could with Photo Paint and came up with this:
Edited Pano
I'm new to panoramas and Hugin. Any ideas on why I got my original result? My guess is that there were too few control points found in the two source photos furthest to the right. Tried adding some manually, but I'm pretty sure I wasn't doing it correctly. Anyone else have experience with Hugin?
Oh, and has anyone else noticed that the internet seems to hate Tiff files?
