Middle Shell... Replace it myself??

Hello, this is my first time posting something on here. i have the original mavic pro and the middle shell is damaged, should i try replace it myself? or is it better to get someone who knows what they are doing to fix it? It looks like a big job to replace by myself.

If you do attempt it, better to have something else to fly in the meantime. You pretty much have to disassemble the entire drone and move all the electronics from one frame to the other.

If you do have something else to fly while you are working on the Mavic, it could be a fun experiment.

How bad is your middle frame?

It looks like a lot of work. You might want to have someone help if you don't think this looks like something you can handle yourself:

Yep, Ive done hundreds of them, and usually give my advice here for free for people who like to DIY.
