Thanks for watching! I did some quick searching about the remains of the old bridge and found this...
"Another interesting fact is that the old Burnstown Bridge used to be situated directly behind the United Church. It was torn down around 1967 when a new bridge across the Madawaska River was erected shortly thereafter. Large cement piers, remnants of the old bridge were left standing in the waters of the Madawaska. These piers have provided ample fun for local children and teenagers to climb upon and jump into the Madawaska River below. They are a must to check out on your visit to Burnstown while exploring the quant village on foot."
