Mini 2 help to understand.

I fly a DJI Mini 2.
That being said, what is the diffwrence in a Mavic Mini and a Mini 2.
Enlighten me please.

There are probably a couple others the Range is the biggest advantage of the Mini 2

Here’s a list of the improvements that I have seen on YouTube videos comparing the MM to the new Mini 2:
1. OcuSync 2.0 instead of enhanced wi-fi.
2. Better wind resistance scale level 5. 18 – 23 mph ( 29-37 Km/hr) due to new motors.
3. Digital zoom feature. Up to 4 times.
4. 31 minute battery life.
5. Front arms don’t twist/flex as much as on the Mini1. Plastic covers instead of foam as on Mini 1.
6. 4K video 30 fps.
7. Better props (not so flexible).
8. Top speed up from 29 mph to 36 mph (46- 58 Km/hr).
9. High video bit rate increased from 40 mbps to 100 mbps which gives a better image on your phone/tablet.
10. USB C ports.
11. Quieter than Mini 1.
12. Bigger remote battery 5200 mAh. Twice the size of MM remote giving 6 hrs of flight time.
13. The Smart Controller can be used with it.
14. Shoots photos in RAW now.
15. Still under 249 grams
16. 4K Hyperlapse
17. Battery smart discharge feature.
18. Customisable button.
19. Lipo battery not Lion like Mini 1
20. Better angle for flying into wind
21. Lighter than Mini 1 at reported 242 grams.

Some people, including me, refer to the Mavic Mini as the Mini-1.

The Mini-2 is a significantly upgraded version of the Mini-1. They are indistinguishable at a quick glance, but many of the systems have been improved. The camera, Occusync 2.0, and a bunch of other stuff.

The Mini-SE is essentially a Mini-1A. It's basically an upgraded version of the Mini-1. It uses the same (lame) controller as the Mini-1. One of the advances of the Mini-SE/1A is that it uses the same batteries as the Mini-2.

The Mini-3 is apparently another big upgrade from the Mini-2, but I don't have my Mini-3 yet so I'm not prepared to comment on that.

Re #16 - I was not aware that the Mini 2 had Hyperlapse. Where do I find that?

I'm well aware of the Mini (Known as the Mini 1) but the reference to the "Mavic Mini" is name confusing.
To me its either a Mini 1 or a Mini 2, don't add anthing more.

A horse by any other color is still a horse.

Except isn’t the official DJI name for what you are referring to as the “Mini 1” the “Mavic Mini”? I mean AFAIK you can’t go into the Support section of DJI’s website and find support for a product named the “Mini 1”. You can find support for the “Mavic Mini”. So isn’t it’s actual name “Mavic Mini” or maybe I’m just confused.
