If you dont want up/ downs and want to be surprised and not let down that Air 2 is the Gem , the sweet spot that we have awarded the drone of the decade.
I got £415 for mine, but that was back in July before the changes. With my Mavic Air I was always worried about flight time and noise, I’ve owned a Mavic Mini and now have the Mini 2, the Mini 2 is a joy to fly and super quiet compared to the MA. You should also consider drone regulation in the UK now, with the Mini there are very few restrictions now, with the obvious one still in place. Not sure how much you can get for a second hand MA but the value is only going to fall and then you’ve got the end of the transitional period in a couple of years.
Dunno why people are telling you Air2 when you asked about the Air or Mini2.
I had the Air having previously owned a couple of Phantoms and a Mavic Pro - and it was my favourite drone. I sold it as I was going to stop flying altogether. A few months on I regretted it and the Mini2 was coming out, so I got one at release. I like it more than the Air simply because the Air used wifi, and the Mini uses occusynch which gives a much stronger signal. I also much prefer the controller. It feels better, and to me more natural to have the screen at the top. It’s also quicker to set up. I don’t miss the active track, as I never used it. Hope this helps.
Yeah as well as the fact that it's lighter and gets blown by the wind easier. But I think the pros outweighs the cons. One downside of the mini is the lack of collision avoidance.
I cant remember. It’s USB C - if thats helps?Oh one more question does the Mavic mini 2 batteries have the same adapter as the Mavic air (I have a charger which you can use in a car for the Mavic air can I use it for the Mavic mini 2 basically)
I found some images they arentI cant remember. It’s USB C - if thats helps?
The MM2 battery charges via usb c either in the drone or through the hub( which can also act as a usb charger) so you can get a simple cigarette lighter( 12v auxiliary power outlet) adaptor with usb c out.Oh one more question does the Mavic mini 2 batteries have the same adapter as the Mavic air (I have a charger which you can use in a car for the Mavic air can I use it for the Mavic mini 2 basically)
