So I installed the Master Airscrew Stealth propellers on my mini 2 and nearly every flight it says there is a payload detected and then limits my top speed and flying distance. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
I have switched back and forth a couple times now and it only happens with the MAS propellers so they seem to be the problem. Still not sure whyI seem to remember seeing this in the past.
Try the stock props and see if the message goes away. If the message disappears, so should the MAS stuff.
I think each motor has its own ESC but I could be wrong.the ESC's control each ,pair of corresponding motors ( CCW or CW )
Yes I have the same after I installed 4 pair of New orginal DJI MINI 2.SE propellersSo I installed the Master Airscrew Stealth propellers on my mini 2 and nearly every flight it says there is a payload detected and then limits my top speed and flying distance. At a guess the detection system monitors the necessary rpm for a flight action and, if the rpm are higher than should be required by x%, issues the warning.. If correct reduced rpm would counter that. The Triple Props added more weight than the MAS Props did, and, they slowed the Motors' RPMs, as well,......
I bought yellow MAS Stealth props for my Mini 2 six months ago to scare birds off. At first they were fine but just recently I have consistently been getting the drone going into Payload mode and restricting its height and range. It never did this with the OEM props and I think the MAS stealth props are warping after being clipped down with the DJI supplied storage clip. I have changed back to the DJI props and the problem has gone away.So I installed the Master Airscrew Stealth propellers on my mini 2 and nearly every flight it says there is a payload detected and then limits my top speed and flying distance. Happened to me as well, I just stopped using the DJI supplied storage clip on my 2nd set of MAS. That clip will eventually ruin your OEM props as well.I bought yellow MAS Stealth props for my Mini 2 six months ago to scare birds off. Do you think it may be because I am clipping the props and putting the drone in its case while the motors and battery are still hot? BTW I noticed it wasn't as stable with the yellow props either.Happened to me as well, I just stopped using the DJI supplied storage clip on my 2nd set of MAS. Don’t know for sure but I think that’s what I read in a different forum. When it happened to my oem props I stopped using it that way and haven’t had a problem since.Do you think it may be because I am clipping the props and putting the drone in its case while the motors and battery are still hot?
