Mini 3 and RC Pro

Does anyone know if the DJI RC Pro remote is compatible with the basic Mini 3? Everything I look at just mentions the Mini 3 Pro and not the basic Mini 3. I would imagine that it would be compatible as both drones have OcuSync 3.

You are correct about ocusync as long as the controller ( it is ) is ocusync 3 it will work.

Is that enough? I thought they had to explicitly add the drone to those supported in a firmware update to the RC Pro... simply being O3 won't make it recognize and pair with any O3 drone, will it?

No, it is not. I just recorded this from My up-to-date RC Pro.

As mobilehomer states the basic Mini 3 is not compatible with the RC Pro and only supports O2 transmission. The RC Pro requires O3 or O3+ transmission.

However, the Mini 3 Pro is fully compatible with the RC Pro as it supports O3 transmission.
