Mini 4k parts

With the ban... would it make sense to buy a spare mini 4k for parts? New to drones, so do not know how reliable they are but if parts become an issue in the future would this make sense?

It has always made sense to have a backup drone, whether to be used as a replacement or for cannibalization. I almost always buy two of every drone I own. Same with camera bodies. Flying cameras are also more prone to destruction and complete loss than terrestrial cameras.

Its not a bad idea I too keep a backup ready to go.
